Coach Glenn is an Eastern Washington native. He serves as our club's College Liaison, meeting individually with players and parents to map out their path to collegiate baseball. He is also highly regarded among college recruiters for promoting the right players to the right colleges, and genuinely having our players' best interest at heart. In 2017, 12 players from a team Coach Glenn started with in 2008 moved onto college baseball at University of Washington, Oregon State University, Pepperdine, University of Northern Colorado, George Fox, Linfield, Bellevue College and Wenatchee Valley Junior College.

In 2008, he joined Darran Littlefield, John Cokos, Gregg Caylor and Jose Rijo-Berger to start Washington FCA Baseball.  Coach Glenn is now involved with FCA’s 18U program as an assistant coach and focusing on developing our middle infielders.  He has led teams to several tournament and league championship rounds including a second place finish in the Seattle Elite 16U State Championship, a first place finish in the prestigious Las Vegas Desert Classic, and several other local and regional tournament championships.  Coach Glenn also served on the coaching staff for Cedar Park Christian’s 2017 team that played for the State Championship.  He is best recognized as an outstanding role model among our players and FCA coaching staff, a great game strategist, and the FCA coach with the highest winning percentage.

Verse to live by:

Philippians 4:11-13 “I don’t say this out of need, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am. I know both how to have a little, and I know how to have a lot. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret whether well fed or hungry, whether in abundance or in need. I am able to do all things through Him who strengthens me.”

Favorite quote:

“It’s not the will to win that matters – everyone has that. It’s the will to prepare to win that matters.” Paul Bear Bryant

Coaching role model:

”I’ve learned a great deal about coaching and dealing with players from our coaching staff Darran Littlefield, Gregg Caylor and Jeff Culpepper. They are great strategists and truly care about our players and their future after baseball.”

Favorite part of coaching:

Watching our players realize their dreams of playing college baseball is a passion of mine. It’s so cool to see these young boys dedicate themselves at an early age, put in the work and then be rewarded as young men.
