Leadership

Our Leadership Team consists of the General Managers for each team, Head of Training, Head of Programs, Team Chaplin, and Parent Representatives from each team.  The individuals listed below are those most responsible for guiding the Program and serve both parents and players.

Before an individual is selected to represent FCA Washington Baseball, we conduct thorough interviews and background checks to ensure that these individuals have the attributes that we seek, including deep baseball experience, successful coaching track record and outstanding leadership qualities.

18U Program and Lead GM

Darran Littlefield has been coaching youth sports for 15 years including select baseball for the past eight years. Coach Littlefield is also the varsity baseball coach at Cedar Park Christian High School in Bothell, WA where he led the Eagles to league championships in 2010 and 2011, and received the WIAA Coach of the Year Award for the Emerald City League in 2010.

16U Program

Chris Fedor has been actively coaching youth sports in King County and Southern California for twenty plus years. He has spent the last 11 years as a Head Coach in Woodinville Little League; Head Coach at Timbercrest Junior High School;  Head Coach in Sandy Koufax and now Mickey Mantle. Along the way Coach has won multiple league and tournament Championships including a State Championship in Sandy Koufax.

15U Program

Bob Scheid is a co-General Manager of the FCA 15U team.

Paul Zoba is a co-General Manager of the FCA 15U team.  Prior to serving Washington FCA Baseball, Paul has served on the Woodinville Little League Board of Directors, coached for the Woodinville Baseball Club, several little league and All-Star teams and also assists with the FCA 12U team.

14U Program

Randy Moore has a long history of coaching teams in the Pacific Northwest.  In addition to coaching for Washington FCA Baseball, Randy currently coaches for the Showcase Teams and Fall Ball Teams at Rijo Athletics and has for over 15 years. His history as a player spans decades including post high school Club Ball in the Everettt and Kitsap areas and numerous team and division championships from 1986 to 1995.

Program Advisor

José Rijo serves Washington FCA Baseball by directing professional training for each team and advising the club in its future development.  As Owner and President of Rijo Athletics in Woodinville he also directs its day-to- day business which includes over 9 baseball instructors.  Currently also a scout for the Milwaukee Brewers, José was drafted by the New York Mets in 1996 as a starting centerfielder with a career batting average of .279 and voted as “Best Conditioned Athlete” by the Mets organization.  At the collegiate level, José’s career highlights include being named to the 1st team All World Series team, 1st team All-Northwest outfielder NAIA 2 years in a row, 1st team All-American NAIA and winning the 1996 National Championship with Lewis-Clark State College.  He has since dedicated his life and career to helping young athletes excel on and off the field.

Chaplin

Jonathan Rainey is the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Seattle Director/University of Washington Director where he serves the spiritual need for all of the UW athletic teams and is responsible for establishing FCA in the greater Seattle area. Jonathan is also the full-time chaplain of the FCA baseball leagues in the Seattle area. An athlete himself, he played collegiate football and was “Defensive Back of the Year” in his Junior season as he pursued his major in Pre-Med and Accounting with a minor in French. Previously, Jonathan worked with FCA at Georgia Tech and University of Mississippi (“Ole Miss”) before moving to Seattle. Jonathan has a passion for God and athletes. His attitude in life is to be “obsessed with God and passionate about people.”
